About me
I'm involved as a university teacher in the courses Educational Technology and Instructional Strategies. As teacher educator I'm responsible for an internship course and part of the educatonial executive committee.

As postdoc researcher I'm currently involved as co-promotor of 4PhD-projects in technology-enhanced STEM and math education and academic development. I'm project coordinator of a university-wide innovation project on active instructional strategies. Outside the university walls, I'm executive committee member (secretary-treasurer) of EARLI (European Association for Research on Learning and Instruction), senior coordinator of the Special Interest Group Assessment & Evaluation (SIG1) and member of the editorial advisory board of Studies in Educational Evaluation.
Research interest
My research interest is on technology-enhanced instructional strategies and formative and sustainable feedback practices within higher and secondary education.
In my PhD project on face-to-face peer assessment practices with the use of Mobile Response Technology, I focused on the conditions under which face-to-face peer assessment practices can best be implemented. In these contexts, I focused on the effect of anonymity on interpersonal variables between students. Additionally the role of the teacher within these peer assessment practices was explored.
